I apologize to the people who have already looked at this recipe, I forgot an ingredient, BREADCRUMBS. The recipe is on my old computer that died so I was going off memory, sorry for the mistake.
My meatloaf recipe stays really moist even when you heat up leftovers. I use brown gravy instead of a tomato glaze.
1 lb lean meat
1/2 cup cheddar cheese
1/2 cup bread crumbs ( I use Italian)
1 egg
3/4 milk
1 slice of bread
white pepper
Preheat 350
In a small bowl pour milk and soak slice of bread (I take edges off bread before). In a large bowl, breakup meat, add cheese and egg, mix together (I use my hands), then pepper and bread (don't squeeze all the milk out). Mix together and put in a baking loaf pan. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes (you can check as it bakes), I slice the meatloaf in the pan, if it is close to being done I pour the gravy over the top and put back in for another 15 minutes or so.
