My Favorite Dessert

As a baker sometimes you want to make a quick and easy dessert for the family.   I have a brownie dessert that is so simple and best of all, there is hardly any clean up afterwards.   I have two items I HAVE to make every year for the holidays my chocolate chip cookies and brownies.   I do try to make one new cookie or bar recipe to add to the holiday buckets I give to family and friends.   Most of the time I can't decide what to bake for the holidays, so I hang my list of  different kinds of cookies and start baking.    Before I know it I have filled every table and counter space available in my little kitchen, ran out of room to cool, store or prepare more cookies.    But I absolutely LOVE IT!!!

When I usually bake for other people I don't include nuts in anything I make, but since this was for us, I added nuts and powder sugar along with the chocolate drizzle.
