Gardening Time

I absolutely love being outside and add gardening to that and I am one happy girl.   I grew up eating out of our garden and love just spending the whole summer bare foot especially in the garden.  With Spring right around the corner now is the time to plan out the garden and changes to the flower beds around the yard.  

Some changes I will be making this year is trying to "train" the cucumber and cantaloupe plants to grown on a "lattice" type fixture. Have never tried this before but every year wish we would have as they escape the small garden area.  It works with other vegetables so why not try it.
  

Another popular way to grow a garden in a small area is vertical and in patio planters.   You can grow just about anything you want, you can have herbs all year round.  I also would love to try the apples, lemons and berries plants in patio planters.  You can put them on wheels and move them around, which is great if your patio area doesn't have sun on it all day or if you have too much.
