Kitchen Helpers

Every person needs a helper in the kitchen, I for one have one I LOVE and cannot live without.   I bought a mobile island two summers ago at a yard sale for $10.00.   My husband put nice wheels on it which raised it up so it's very comfortable to roll dough on, has two small pullout drawers on each side with four adjustable shelves.    I use it everytime I bake, I leave my mixer on it and all my ingredients underneath, its so handy and to think I wasn't going to get it.

The other helpers I love are the utility carts or kitchen carts as I call them.    They have so many really cute colors to go in any color kitchen and they really do hold alot.   We have sold them for years at the antique mall, we have three different kinds now, one double shelf red,  formica gray where the top shelf lifts off as a serving tray and a metal one with glass shelves.    If you love to be in your kitchen these are as much a staple as any ingredient in your pantry.

I passed up a cart at a thrift store the other week, when I went back, yeah you guessed it, it was gone!!!!   I've been in the antique business a lot of years so I know the rules "if you see something and you like it, get it, because when you go back it won't be there".   I have my eye on a couple chairs, so I'm hoping to get them and doll them up next.    Remember "junkin" can cure any bad!!!!
