Baked Penne

As you can see by what recipes I'm posting, we love pasta dishes, they are simple to make and there's usually leftovers, which is even better.

I have made this recipe using different kinds of pasta and it is all good.


1/2 lb extra lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onions
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1 (24 oz) jar of spaghetti sauce
1 (10 oz) tub of Philadelphia Italian Cheese and Herb Cooking Creme, divided
1 cup Kraft shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1 cups hot cook penne pasta


Preheat oven 350

Brown meat with vegetables in a skillet, stir in spaghetti sauce,  3/4 cooking creme, and 1/2 mozzarella cheese.  Cook and stir 2-3 minutes or until mozzarella cheese is melted, add pasta and toss lightly.

Spoon into a 2 qt. baking dish, top with remaining cooking creme and mozzarella cheese.

Cover and bake for 20 minutes or until heated through, uncovering after 15 minutes.
